FPC Membrane Switch Advantages
It has lower electrical resistance and higher conductivity. The copper circuit paths in the FPC Membrane Keypad have much lower resistance, only one-fifth that of the silver circuit.

Achieve a much thinner track width: With PET silver circuitry the minimum pitch is 1mm, but with the fpc membrane switch this is 0.5mm or even 0.3mm.
High temperature resistant: The temperature resistance of FPC is better than silver circuit. FPC can withstand high temperatures up to 280 degrees.
Ability to withstand bending, wrinkling and vibration: FPC can be bent and folded, which improves the efficiency of the product and can last for a long time.
SMT technology and smaller designs: When dealing with smaller package sizes, footprints and harsh environment applications, FPC circuitry can fit more components in a smaller space and accommodate unique functionality and features in membrane keypads. It is ideal for smaller designs where dense circuit patterns or cross routing limitations exist.
Reliability: FPC circuits use a soldered joint that can be up to three times stronger than conductive adhesive. Electronic components soldered onto FPC will provide higher durability than those bonded onto silver circuitry (depending on the use environment, especially in the defence industry and in high pressure, high temperature, high humidity environments).
